Bauxite, also known as bauxite or bauxite, is mainly composed of aluminum oxide and contains impurities. Bauxite has an extremely complex composition and is a general term for a variety of hydrous alumina ores with very different geological origins.
According to the use of bauxite, it is divided into metallurgical grade, chemical grade, refractory grade, grinding grade, cement grade, etc. Used to make refractory materials, this kind of bauxite is called refractory grade alumina. Bauxite clinker with appropriate ratios of AL2O3/Fe2O3 and AL2O3/SiO2 is used to melt alumina.
1. High refractory temperature, strong thermal stability, and no cracking. Aluminum mullite sand is an aluminum-silicon-based product. After calcination, its refractoriness and thermal vibration stability are far greater than that of quartz sand with a crystal phase structure composed of single crystal silicon. It is not easily wetted by liquid metal to form a low melt, which can overcome Quartz sand has a large thermal expansion coefficient and poor yield during condensation, resulting in shortcomings such as low casting accuracy and sand sticking.
2. Different particle gradation, better breathability. Foundry sand is ground by Raymond mill and mixed according to the specific particle gradation during production to improve the air permeability of the paint. In addition, the products processed by ball mills, the casting sand particles processed by Raymond mills are better controlled, and the proportion of bauxite clinker is more scientific.
3. The coatings have high fusion, high strength and easy demoulding. Different refractory coatings use aluminum-silicon clinker products, lost foam bauxite clinker fine powder, according to different particle gradations from the inside out. The combination from fine to coarse results in a higher degree of integration between coatings; while increasing the coating's strength and erosion resistance to prevent problems such as collapse, it is also easier to demould. And bauxite mullite is a neutral material, and bauxite clinker can be used as both acid and alkali binders.
